AI Roleplay: Build a Fictional Conversation Together

Learn how to start an AI roleplay scenario on DreamBunny with clear characters, settings, boundaries and conversational direction.

Create your companion

Set up a scene in four parts

  1. Name the setting and confirm that every character is a fictional adult.
  2. Define your role and the companion's role. Keep both simple enough to remember.
  3. Choose a tone, a reply length and any boundaries before the scene starts.
  4. End your opening with a decision or question so the other character has a clear way to respond.

Give the conversation a setting

Roleplay adds a fictional situation to a conversation. Decide who the adult characters are, where the scene takes place and what is happening at the start. A simple opening, such as meeting at a bookshop before an imaginary journey, gives the character a clearer starting point than an unexplained command.

Guide the tone and pace

Describe whether you want a lighthearted exchange, a slow story or a short scene. Add relevant details as the conversation develops, and restate important context if the AI loses track. Responses are generated, not scripted performances, so the character may make mistakes or interpret a prompt differently from what you intended.

Keep fiction within boundaries

Roleplay does not override the platform's age and content rules. All characters must be adults, and prohibited content remains prohibited. Keep real personal information out of fictional prompts. Check your plan for feature access, and use the separate media tools only when you want to create a photo or video.

Recover when the story drifts

Restate only the facts needed for the next turn: where you are, what just happened and what each person knows. For example: 'We are still in the cafe; neither of us has visited the lighthouse yet.' If the AI starts deciding your actions, ask it to describe only its own character and leave you a choice. Long stories may still become inconsistent.

Text scenes and media requests are different

Writing a fictional scene does not mean a photo or video has been generated. Use the app's media controls when you want a visual result and check the displayed token requirement first. Keep the scene within the acceptable-use policy; a fictional setting does not remove consent, adult-only or safety rules.
